Ashish Sahasrabuddhe’s Hindi Film “SWIPE SWIPE” booked out in Sydney’s Cinema

 



SWIPE SWIPE”, a relationship and dating based film Written & Directed by Ashish Sahasrabuddhe is ready to be released in Cinemas of Sydney and Canberra.

All shows are booked out One month in advance.

No it's not a big budget movie. No it doesn't have A list actors and Yes in a big rush of multi hundred crores(millions) film projects, Ashish has carved his own path and crafted his film with an extremely low budget feature film in Sydney Australia.

The film is 1 hour 13 minutes long and walks through the journey of some in their single phase of life trying to attempt the relationship.

Sydney Siders have already booked the tickets one month in advance.

Ashish states “I am very thankful to the local Indian community, friends and colleagues who have been a big support to our fully booked out shows,  For me it is a very big deal as an independent filmmaker”.

He adds  “Watching the same film in a cinema hall twice is rare but he had similar experiences with last film”.

His current film “SWIPE SWIPE” has repeat audience.

“Swipe Swipe” depicts how it's easy to install apps on the phone and browse through online dating but the reality might be bitter for some.

Filmmaking is not Ashish’s business, he makes all these films from his limited savings after paying household bills, mortgage and managing the 9-5 job but the focus is to bring good stories and express local issues not chasing number of views, monetary benefit, popularity and/Or awards.

Ashish does not wait for anyone to help, He announces, kick starts, moves forward, sometimes it could be against the flow, keeping learning hat on.

He said “Yes I fail but haven't given  up so I was able to produce good films”

Ashish also did first Marathi film *’The Filmmaker’* in Sydney Australia that won the *Best Writer* award at the Marathi International Film Festival in New Jersey, USA, and won Best Experimental Film at the *CAFE IRANI CHAII INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL* in Mumbai. English-speaking audiences appreciated the film, just by following the subtitles.

He has written and directed the female lead “50 Dollars” depicting arrogant vs caring and soft sides of female business women.

He focused on Men’s emotional side as well in 5 episodic called “DEAR MEN”

Ashish , notes on his journey “It’s ok  I am slow, but I keep moving forward on the path I carved for myself”

He encourages passionate people to not look for a few dollars here and there but take every opportunity to do the work that involves passion as the life just passes by in day jobs, and weekend parties.
